GSM phone should be always as quadband (at least if it's not a very simple mobile phone). So, the standard should be GSM 850/900/1800/1900.
The other question is UMTS. Sure it would be great to have in addition quadband UMTS as well: UMTS 850/900/1900/2100.
But if it's really impossible to make such kind 8-band phone, I suggest to make the following GSM quadband phones:
* with UMTS 850/1900 (American version)
* with UMTS 900/2100 (the other world)
(But at the moment the american version of C510 has all american bands and also some other world bands. But the "world wide version" has a limited network capability! Nonsense!) |
