doubt it. Walkman Player seems to be platform-dependent:
1.0 on JP5/60: W800/810/900, etc
2.0 on JP7/A100: W850/880, etc. except the W710?
3.0 on JP8/A200: W910/890, etc.
and on-board Walkman Player never gets any update to higher version, afaik. SO I doubt it, se_love.
I kinda like Metal Grey with Midnight Summer or Splashed Art.

Aha ok now i get you. So that would mean that V.4 would be on the A300 platform. |

I love clamshells and after my wonderful w980...mayb e this one is going to be good for everyday use.
Nobody mentioned the "clear audio" thing.It does not have this "improved" quality for music,does it?

Guess the clear bass stuff is only for high-end phones then...they should add it to midrange too. |

The W508 isn't going to be cancelled/replaced by the T707, is it? I feel like there's a ton of hype around this phone and people want it... don't they? I do...
I really hope it comes out soon. |

Nah this will get it fair share of money dont you worry.Anyway I saw the flaws and well yeah now I know why I did not wait for this. The phone in general. Itsd a clamshell. I absolutely hate them now that SE has the landscape media player. I mean it is the one thing I use the most on an SE and well i cannot deal with it on a clamshell. Oh and the screen. Why cant they give clamshells a good name and hardware for Christs sake! |

So I got the w508! And I can honestly say that I love it. Only one thing.... It's supposed to have Threaded SMS or Conversations view - at least that's what so many reviews and other things say - and it does not. And it's not just my model. I had a chance to try 2 others (from a different batch as a matter of fact) and none of them have the "Conversations" setting in the SMS inbox! What's so weird is that the User Guide on the phone itself talks about this setting and how to get to it, but the phone just doesn't have it!
Also, one other weird thing... A2Uploader doesn't recognize the phone. Weird! I really want it to...
The phone is fantastic, though. Really nice screen, camera, build - feels great! Just this Messaging thing needs to be fixed.
Anyone? Any thoughts?
