The sound chip of the T300 has to be much more expensive. The 3510i can only use a special kind of midi (sound) file that only Nokias use (I think it's called SP). The T300 can use ANY midi file, from any site, as a ringing sound.

Actually both of these phones support SP-MIDI. It's not "special kind of MIDI", it's an industry standard developed by MMA. Yes, the soundchip is more expensive in T300, since 3510i doesn't have a chip at all. Basicly the only difference is that 3510i supports polyphony of 4 and T300 polyphony of 24. |

I've just had a play with a 3510i and it is very nice, much easier to use than the 7210 and better looking than 6610

this 3510i will sell good because its a nokia not much money and colour screen, but the people who have it will say, dude what a colour screen is this??? this new generation of phones suck, i'm going back to grey scalle phones.
if they would only open there eyes and look at the phones they would see how great they are. |

Hi all,
I have a T300 and i've been playing arround with a 3510i.
I had a T68, I have also a 7650.
As much good as the colors are in a T300, the refresh rate is painfull! The 3510i screen is very fast. The resolution is way better in the T300.
For some ppl, more colors are better, for others good refresh rate is mandatory.
I had a t68 and loved it, till i got the 7650, so i couldn't use the t68 anymore (very slow). I bought a T300 because i had the oportunity of a great deal (I use always two phones, two networks), and i hoped that SE had taken care of the slowness of their phones, i was wrong, so i'm selling it now.
I have the combo T300+MCA25 and i can't use them together, to slow, brownish images on the T300 screen...
I wont buy a 3510i either because it has no connectivity of any kind, IR or bluetooth, and i love to change ringtone and screensaver all the time.
In conclusion, my opinion is that 3510i has a better screen.
