I have the same f/w and have no probs at all.
I have had about 3 crashes since I installed this f/w. I think the secret to avoiding "random" crashes is turning the phone p
off once a day for a minute or two just to clear the memory and everything.

Right, this is a newbie question.
Got myself a W980, running software: R3EA036.
I see some patches on se-nse.net
Are the patches software version dependant? Most of the patches on se-nse are for software R3DA028. Can they be applied to R3EA036?
Next: If I update to the latest software, probably R3EA037, again can I apply the same patches?
The only patch I am really interested in is 'Radio without handsets'.

Patches are different for each firmware, so you will have to apply patches for specific W980 R3EA036, or change the firmware of your phone to match the patch.

Another newbie question:
Are there patches for R3AE036 or R3AE037?
The only ones I have found on se-nse are for older firmware R3DA028.
Has there been no recent patches for the newer firmwares?
I have done some basic googling and found patches only for firmware R3DA028
Any advice? |
