I'm quite satisfied with IM+.
It's not free but well worth the bucks.

I found Slick to be better esp since Yahoo! can't connect anymore on IM+ (or at least, on mine).

Prab, the user asked for freeware products, not cracked software so you didn't answer his question.

Secondly slick vs IM+, remember slick is still alpha/beta phases, so it could change its pricing.

However, while i prefer slick, IM+ works for me so that is what i use. Slick takes far too long to connect to msn.

Anyways my top five are:

Swiss manager

System Seven (email application that allows you to connect to several push email account and it is free, well beta)

gdesk

opera mini

power movie as a free movie player not as good as core player but better than the installed one

Is slick much better than fring? I've tried to install slick a few times but it never wants to install on my m610i proto. Maybe i need a version that doesnt look for a specific model inside the binary? Would love to try it and see if it beats fring hands down.

I think slick works better than fring, looks better and operates like msn with names and user status messages displayed correctly.

Personally if it connected as quickly as im+ does i would use nothing but slick

Did anyone find out what app allowed G900 to write full words in handwriting recognition?

(was mentioned in G900 thread some time ago!).

Yes, they should improve the connection time at startup and add block/unblock in the next beta or in the release version.

Other than that it seems to be a nice app.

Haha, yeah I found that out the hard way when all of a sudden I got a bunch of messages like "Where have you been!?" from blocked people. Apart from that its fast and works lovely, unlike fring which does not want to install. In previous post I had them mixed up tho, sorry for any confusion caused

This is strange, because blocking is not a client based function, at least on msn.

Your contacts and their status (blocked/unblocked) are being stored in your profile at msn servers, so unless you unblock them, they should remain blocked, regardless if your current im client provides the option to change it or not.
