RIGHT!!! Next person to say O2 have a 250MB limit on anything is going to get shot, you hear me?
For the last flaming time, there is no '250MB' limit on anything O2 provides...

You're probably on one of the older bolt ons, all you would have needed to do was ring up and have it updated. But clearly some people have no patience...
Good luck ringing Three's customer service when you have a problem with that *snigger*

Straight from O2 Web bolt-on PAYG terms and conditions:-
"If O2 reasonably suspects you are not acting in accordance with this policy (including where you use an atypical volume of data as compared to normal users of the O2 Web Bolt On, which will normally be less than 200MB of usage within a one month period), O2 reserves the right to impose standard browsing charges (see www.o2.co.uk for details), impose network protection controls which may reduce your speed of transmission, remove the Web Bolt On from your account or disconnect your tariff at any time, having attempted to contact you first."
No such condition in the O2 PAYM Data bolt-on terms and conditions |

Has anyone noticed on the Europe Networks Forum that nearly every thread is about O2. Most of them started by myself LOL

They've always told us different, perhaps it's a case of they simply don't implement it unless your going completely mad with it.
Forgive me, but who on earth is sad enough, and has enough free time on their hands, to use more than 200MB on a phone anyway? Surely you cant be that far away from a PC?

Accordin to posts in forums . People have said they get warned at 450mb that theyre getting close to there limit. And get another at 500mb that theyre about to be charged. And 200mb isnt that much. Its probably an hours browsin of wap and web pages , pluss downloading a good quality mp3

Well i only went to the 500mb limit once on my phone. Never again. I used the satalite maps on Google Maps too much and it uses massive data. I never recieved a warning from O2 at all. But when using the maps on satalite it uses over a thousand kilo bytes with every zoom or map scan. Never again. |

Something strange has happened. After much complaining and me also hanging up on customer service emailing them and so on. All of a sudden tonight ITS WORKING. My god took them long enough to realise or perhaps something has been done maybe there was a fault and it just was not showing up. Its strange too cos its working very fast. Hallelujah. |

See? Patience is a virtue
These things don't just fixed overnight remember, everything has to go through the correct comms channels until it filters down to the engineers.

Yes cheers im happy cos i never wanted to move networks if i could have helped it. Its funny though that having 7 masts where i live and a solid signal there had to be something wrong with one of them for it to be so bad. It was frustrating cos they kept saying there is no fault showing. So maybe sometimes faults are not always quite so obvious. Who knows. |
