if you succeed connecting the phone to xs++ try this:

KK client is not free though. I don't know if it offers free EROM flashing though, but for MAIN and FS flashing you need to pay.

yes...2 days back when i installed usb flash drivers and tried to connect my phone with xs++ my computer displayed a message that a new hardware is found...but i didn't know what to do after that.. |

After that, you need to download this drivers:
http://www.4shared.com/file/4[....]emc_usb_flash_drivers.html?s=1
Extract them and when hardware wizard asks for driver, browse to then and let it install them. Then you can use XS++.

I did this but the Install New Hardware Wizard appeared. Do i need to install software on CD I got with phone onto PC before I start? If so I do not have the disc to hand, can I download it from somewhere?

I need help!!
K800i won't turn on, got red flashing light near IR. Tried downloading USB Driver (previous post) as I don't have phone software but still doesn't work.
I've installed KKClient, SEUS etc. |

You can try folowing:
1/Try to clean phone`s connector
2/download SETool Lite 1.08
3/start it
4/push "Identify" button
5/hold together 2 and 5 on phone`s keypad,not "C"
6/plug the cable and wait a few seconds...
Now SETool must recognize your phone...

You have two options:
1/Try to use phone without reflash - may be it will work...
2/Reflash it
But anyway if it work - don`t do anything! |

i also have red light blinknig near IR port problem..
i tried XS++ it doesn't detect my phone.. when i connect with C. but if i connect with 2+5 its getting detected but stop at starting point of profiling. so nothing displayed..
if i connect with setool its only getting connected with 2+5 and i'm able to flash it.. but the same problem prevails...
any help would be appreciated..

my phones CID is 52 can i flash the Erom in SEtool..???
or if i update with SEUS will it help me??

Update via SEUS do NOT help to repair EROM.
Use XS++ v3.1 (or 3.2) and mark Flash Main Firmware then choose K810_RED_CID52_R3B025_EROM-FOTA_2007-07-24_14.bin
Then do NOT turn on your phone, must flash Main with this: K810_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_SM_RED52.mbn

but the above one is FOTA Erom not a main EROM... somebody told me this in SE-nse so i does this solve the peroblem
and SEUS will update the EROM to CID53 rite??? bec mine is now on 52... so... the problem will be soved
