As far as I know there are no problems with the W890, but its really up to you as to how good it is. If the specs suit you and you are happy with them, then that's great, but the W890 is by no means an all-rounder.

W890 lacks A/F on its camera but the photos are very good anyway as are the photos on the more expensive and larger W760. I consider price to be an important factor when determining an allrounder too - my V640i is good at a range of different tasks and only 1/3 the price of a C902 or K850i. It takes better than average photos, records my Group meetings and interviews for Uni, plays my music and radio, reminds me of my classes and appointments, wakes me up in the morning, recieves my emails, allows me to browse using Opera Mini when I'm out and connects as an HSDPA modem to my laptop when at Uni or at home. Did I mention it makes calls and txts too? W890 would be the same but with better camera, more style, and smaller in your pocket. I'd definately consider it.

P1i
smartphone + touchscreen+ music+ 8 gig external card + 3.2 MP cam + superb crashproof OS + lots of memory + very moddable!
That would make it really sad since it's just a minor upgrade (more RAM and bigger mp cam) from P990 of two years ago. IMO P990 is better because P1 can't be a normal feature phone like P990 with flip its closed, plus P990 has bigger screen and was developed in the tradition of the original convergience device (P-series) even before N95.
