I'll give you 500 for it. I know it's 100 less and I hate it if people go lower than what I ask for but it's really what I can afford at the moment.

@Bav
PAYG is only good if you don't mind being stuck with 02 as they still don't seem to of been able to unlock the 3G iPhone yet.

Well I'm not so sure look how quickly they unlocked the first gen? they have been able to jail brake and allow activation but no unlocking after a month. I'm pretty sure they are trying as best as they can but it does look like Apple my have stopped them this time round.

using winpwn you can unlock it with custom firmware |

Guys No Offence but if you want the hassle of having to wasit for a update hack to be able to update your handsets that is good but these you can update straight away the miniute the firmware is released no hassles guaranteed just hit the update button and the unit will activate
So Bav if you pay £400 for 02 Pay as you go you still have to worry unlocking and breaking the warranty of your phone

Sorry but you are wrong the latest is WinPwn 2.0.0.4 which is dated 9th August on their site and it quite clearly states.
While we wait for WinPwn 2.5 (with completely redesigned GUI interface), 2.0.0.4 has been released — allowing users to jailbreak (1st gen and 3G) and unlock (1st gen) the new 2.0.1 iPhone firmware.
So if you know different please link to it otherwise you are just quite clearly wrong.

Not that Marc needs my defence - but that article doesn't exactly give any details away as to how the unlock was enabled; nor confirm that WinPwn or Pwnage was used during the process. (Pwnage was an assumption on Engadget's part in the article).
The fact that it isn't even available to people now is another reason why it should be discounted at the current time.

@F1, I wasn't going to get a UK contract, and if I did, I'd get it through my mobile store and I'd get 70% off.
However I don't want to be tied to another contract and it'd still equal around 500 pounds for me if I did that.
