Yea, SE needs to be criticized. Are you guys out of ur freakin mind. If you dont inspire a company and continually critisize them, what do u think will happen??
Take for example a kid. If one keeps pon critisizing him, do you think he will improve?? I dont think so. I have seen only criticizm and no inspiration from the Likes oF Eldar. Hes acting more like a prick nowadays.
And yea, critisize SE..its fine. But cummon, do so with relevant facts atleast. The one regarding the C905 was gruesome. He completely blasted SE by saying that C905 uses a samsung sensor, when it actually uses a Sony Exmor sensor. Now you anti-SE fanboys. What do you have to say of that??
The he vented his anger on the Xperia by saying that its a piece of crap. Man.This man is indispensable.
So if you keep on approving what the kid's doing, you think he'd get better? I think that the kid will grow up to be a spoiled bitch. |

No, the kid wont improve. Yes, its good to critisize. But theres a limit. If you praise the other guys and continually criticize this single guy, this guy will lose all hope and fall into depression. Anywaz, i guess you got my point. |

one other point that also came to mind..
the rumor he started all over the net that C905 using samsung lense
but for all other review sites, they say its uses Xemor csmos lense made by sony..
so , am gonna wait till we get the device and find out who is saying the truth...
so , this thing made most ppl angry on SE, and if he says that cuz he was not testing the final product, its tottaly not an excuse..
if he is right, we will apologize to him, but if he was wrong, he should do that to us and SE..

Who cares what lense it uses? I don't see anything wrong with the Samsung lense that the INNOV8 uses, it takes great pictures. All it is is just a brand name, to be honest, I think the INNOV8 takes great pictures, the sky looks so nice and blue. |

eldar's is his own subjective review and presumably based on what he could see and "feel" from the current unit he is testing (mostly beta, btw).. and foremost, his review would be "colored" by his own experiences..
i appreciate his published review since it gives us - readers, ideas on how the subject unit is (at least as far as he is concerned ).. can you not find that worthy enough to at least thank the guy?
at the end of the day (or the review lol), it will boil down to your very own judgement and very own "biased" review (with or without the subject unit)..
"experience is relative.."
cheers, mates!

Do the people who often quote Eldar seem level-headed and unbiased
That should speak volumes about the impression Eldar gives. |

About Eldar, I thought he's one of SE fanboy. But he just feel dissappointed after trying some prototype from SE, so he blamed and insults SE because of that. Remember that every people has their own opinion, so I respect his dissappointment. Dunno if SE hears Eldar's...
One Eldar's mistakes: commenting too much further about prototype, even insults SE because of that, without worrying that his words can affects SE's sales. I thought we can't judge the performance from the prototype, especially because SE's prototype is very bad-finished and buggy, compared to Nokia and Samsung protos...
One simple examples comes from C902. Eldar mentioned that it utilize Samsung Cam Module. Then all of you know that final production comes with Sony Modules. Some C902 previews out there should be cancelled, because it still use old prototype with bad photo samples, that could makes some bad public opinions floating around...
And how about the difference outlook from announced W902 (Patty)? In my un-announced proto, it's very bad finished, without glossy finish on the front side!
C905 early prototype also performs very badly: Samsung-Modules, no image post-processing, EXIF data included without geotagging, laggy QVGA video recording (only 20 - 25fps). I had the same impression with Eldar when I tried this. Next version of prototype I tried acts differently, although it still utilizing NetFront 3.4 without YouTube supports. Now some other members just confirmed some changes in the final-production unit, isn't it?
At least when Eldar makes some previews (not reviews) of SE's prototype, he should adding these words: "Note that the device I tested are based on beta-production unit with R1AA062 Firmware Revision. The actual performance and my personal opinions of Mass-Production unit could be different." It could be better instead of making some negative statements and behaving that the final-production unit could performs the same...
Prototype has been made for testing-purposes only, not for show-off! At least it was SE's philosophy, in addition to reduce R&D costs so prototypes always bad-finished and has a flaws. It's testers (and Eldar's) job to make some feedback, so the final-production could be better. It's better than talking too much to the public about prototype units, and he deserves this once, for losing his trustabilitity in C902 cam module cases. That makes a lots of Esato members has a doubt about their statements that C905 using Samsung cam module... And once more, Eldar are mixing up between facts, opinions, and his own emotions in his review. That's not professional, he should be netral.
And yes, I could understand Eldar feels dissappointed, because SE's portfolio are just full of crap phones, with too many phone duplication, minor innovation. But right now, I has some positive thinking about SE after seeing some un-announced upcoming high-end devices from SE. Hope they not cancelled it!

I used to respect Eldar for his reviews, but I think the last few reviews from him have gotten far too emotional, opinionated and biased. Too much emotions without enough facts and objective comments on the products themselves.
Eldar has truly done himself and his readers a great disservice.
It would be better for everyone to read several different reviews before coming to your own conclusions. |
