I don't understand that, why people blank out their number plates, both in text format and in pictures. I mean, you drive past hundreds of number plates every day and they're not covered up, so whats the difference? :/

because when driving your number plate has to be displayed...
online it doesn't....
also, I don't want my plate being cloned and being used it criminal activity and getting me into al sorts of trouble.... |

lol but thats just as likely to happen wether your driving your car or putting a pic up of it online, same number of people will end up seeing it. Can't see what the issue is really :/

You could prolly get away with
PA01 LOL?
or PA07 instead? Down to creativity.
Or, keep your eye on the auction ones, they have obscure plates that don't match any current or previous numbering format, they literally spell words in one go with all the characters lumped together rather than seperated.
For example: R00B4RB |

You can buy 1st December 2012 but won't be able to display it until 01/03/13 on a car registered on 01/03/13.....

Exactly, so you'd have to buy a brand new car...
We were going to get my brother R008 ABB for his 21st birthday (Roobarb or 'Roob' is his online nick, has been for years and even some of his mates call him that, the rest know what it means, and ABB are his initials) but he's just bought his first house and even though he's got a 53 plate Megane, he can't afford to buy a new car just yet.
So we're looking at ones like R60 OOB

Well it's easier to say 'Roob' because 'Adam' it two sylabales (spelling? ) vs one, so alot of us call him that
