It just seems like the phone got rated for all the wrong reasons. That is usually the problem with expectations

May be SE is not so dead This cell phone C902 looks pretty good. I know that it is not a smartphone, but looks great G900 is a piece of crap. It is obvious that the mobile is not good for the money

With regards to the comment above:
SE is certainly not dead. But there are severe (and honestly quite rational) doubts as to the future of the UIQ platform and SE smartphones based on UIQ. And I'm saying this as someone who has bought every SE smartphone since the P800.

I expect either a slow death of the platform, with market shares going to the new nokia platform and windows mobile approx. 50:50. I do not see the iPhone as a direct competitor (yet), due to differences in the form factor.

which of course stops nobody from enjoying their SE UIQ phones. and shouldn't. They're great phones with a lot of good features, a sometimes clunky but fairly approachable interface an a slightly underwhelming 3rd party software market. And I love them.

The good thing is, since the P1i and its brethren have been hacked, i can imagine a good long life for those phones. the hacks so far have removed so many of the small niggles I had about the phone, it starts to make sense in a new way. now, if only someone could come up with a decent messaging application. the in-built one is a slow mess.

enough ranting for now....

cheers
