About these phones... The specifications are OK, but I DONT like the design
How can you NOT like the design? Any other qwerty keyboard phones do not come close to such an exotic design of the E71, IMO! To be honest if this design doesn't do it for you, then qwerty phones just may not be your cup of tea. Unless you're a pearl fan.

It looks good, and the specs are not bad, a bit of an improvement from E61/E61i. I like the E66 more though.

not by much anyway. G900 was released in 2008 still no EDGE, no memory card in package, OLD CPU etc. . . Nice Stone age phone though.

Hi all,
Just to let you all know i now have an E71 Steel/Grey in my hands thanks to WOM World and i after i have fully charged it, synced it and loaded my apps you can expect a full Dogmann review to come.
So far all i can really say is that the pictures just don't do it justice you really need to hold one to appreciate it's stunning looks and tactile feel. Here are some pictures of it so far expect a full report as i compare it to what was one of my favorite devices the E61 and my current device an E90.

@ Dogmann
Thats a nice phone ! Only thing putting me off is the small screen.
Is the video capture VGA 22fps like Nokia says or QVGA 15fps like all about symbian says? |

Hi Prom1
Yes those pictures are taken with the E90 and to be honest the results i have got from it have always been good. I even took a picture of Otis in the dark with no image on the screen yet when i took it the flash took a more than decent picture.
@all
As far as i am aware there is no BB client for the E71 well not yet anyway and no one seems sure if there will be one or not. I can't test it with the E90's version as i don't have it activated on my account.
I am now posting my initial impressions review on the E71 after the first 24 hours and will answer any questions i can although i haven't used all it's functions yet. I just wanted to give my first impressions.
Marc

Still not seen this available on contract on UK networks.
Rang vodafone yesterday who cited software issues for the delay and its release has been moved back to the end of August sigh
Anyone have any news on the other networks?
Im guessing Vodafones software issues are down to them butchering the firmware with their own branding though I may be wrong.
