1 - No

2 - if you are really crazy, and start deleting the wrong files, and don´t care about instructions, you might have to format your C drive to get things back to factory state, or flash the phone with SEUS

if you read the instructions, backup data when needed, there´s no problem whatsoever

btw, here´s a really nice tutorial to start

http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=27191

then you will be able to do a alot of things, including changing the system icons by just instaling a sis file, like it was a theme

Last week it was said that this week the announcement of the new P5 would be done. I'm not sure if I am wrong. Do you have any idea?

As far as I know and many people talking on the forums, the P5 was cancelled several days ago...

Well I'm a bit tired from the several sony ericsson phones I own ... In fact they start to be boring and want something new for me... So far I have tried many phones like: K700, K750, W800, P990, K800 and have modded many phones and have had approx 90% of the past sony ericssons in my hands... But so far phones that impressed me were: W800, K800 and P990... In july I'm getting a P1 so I want to ask the P1 owners on this forum how are their phones, are they satisfied with them and etc...

Here are my questions:

1. How's the build quality of the P1?
2. Is it worth getting it now?
3. What about software (bugs and etc,,,)?
4. Which contents come in the package (like headset, charger, deskstand and etc,,,)?
5. Which is the exact model of the headset that comes with the phone 9if ny)?
6. Does the package include memory stick (what capacity)?

Any answers of these question will be REALLY APPRECIATED ... It would be very nice to hear some replies from you...

Its an OK phone but my biggest complaint is build quality! it may be my last SE phone if they don't start to build them up to a level in line with the prices they charge for them.

1. Very Poor I do not like spending good money on a phone who's battery cover started creaking within a week of ownership!
2. It will probably be priced about right now,its being replaced soon.
3. Mine was SIM free it's OK now, but it took all the upgrades SE had! and it Still shuts down sometimes!
4. Wired headset, charger, deskstand, SW Battery soft case Bluetooth GPS
5. Just a cheap wired headset NOT bud type
6. Mine was 1 Gig
I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot.

Yes, the battery can creak a bit, but i placed a bit of card under it, and now is solid. And its not worse than the p990, and other SE phones i had (always had to put some credit card over the battery)

And the rest of the materials and build are top...so, i really think its false to say the phone is well buit, when it has one of the best aluminium type housings in the market

Regarding stability, i don´t have a self reboot since February...its obviously not a problem on a normal P1

Regarding upgrades, this phone had way less upgrades than its older cousins, 3 if i am not mistaken, and before the last one, it was already stable

Try a format via service menu.

This should restore the demo along with all apps & games (while a full master reset deletes them).

The only difference between format & reflash are the 3 themes which you can easily backup on your m2 prior performing a format.

At least on GW1.

@ares: Mate I have backed up EVERYTHING... Done master reset, restored the files, modded the phone again, and now the only thing I forgot to backup is the Demo Tour video from my P1... I have EVERYTHING else in working order... So can you upload a copy of your demo tour video on http://www.rapidshare.com, please
