I think you forgot the price of the 7650 when it first came out, it was about 2000 USD, and then the price dropped until its now 400 USD, The P800 came out with a very reasonable price, same price of other devices like the p800 e.g. Xda, and dont forget that the phone is out for less than 2 weeks, I heard many rumours sayin that the price will drop to a good price that it seems very reasonable to me, and this will be in about 2 weeks only, it will drop for about 600 USD, and I'm 90% sure about this, so if u wait for a month, u will have 2 benefits: a better upgraded software fixing the bugs and no need to upgrade, and a less price, and dont forget that this is the best phone in the world for now.

Hey, this telme thing is not bad at all, and it is cheap, half price of P00. OK it doesn`t have bleutooth but it isn`t worse than N7650 but it is cheaper... Any other opinions? Does any has it? How it is in real life?

Just downloaded manual: it has MMC support, caller groups, tall and wide screen option, handsfree (speakerphone)... Only thing that I would miss is web browser and possibility of third party software. I don`t know which OS it uses...

I'm sure that there will be T9 on the P800 by a 3rd party app, or with a software upgrade, don't forget that the 7650 had many disadvantages and problems that 3rd party apps handled it.

ewwww...7650??!?! Other than a better screen, that brick has nothing over the T68i! And people are TRYING to compare it to the P800?!?!?! PLEASE! The 7650 is a 'technology wanna-be' in EVERY WAY.

It's a fun phone, as ALL Nokia's are. Don't pretend it's more than that. The 7650 was overpriced from the very start, it had NO NEW technology whatsoever. Everything in that thing was already existing, even outdated. (It's not even tri-band, and bluetooth was pathetic)

I even remember the 8810 being price over $1000 and even then, it had nothing new to offer other than a silver case.

If motorola paragon turns out to be real; it would be a real competitor. Sooner or later nokia will make a competitor.

I don't see how something based on nokia's "series 60" could be considered a real competitor; on account of screen resolution and non-touch-screen interface. In addition it would need bluetooth-, mp3-, word/excel-capabilities to be in the game.

And nokia 6800 doesn't even seem to be based on series 60.

This doesn't mean that 3650 somehow could infect sales of P800.

I see you guys haven't mentioned the Neonode N1, which is not a really direct compeditor to the P800, but still a neat, 260 000 colors very small camera-phone at a really attractive price.

Or the Neonode from Sweden that will (I´m sceptic) launch in February.

www.neonode.com or www.neonode.se

When SonyEricsson held their Pressconference here in Sweden - Neonode stood outside with a truck and showed their phone...

Thank god!
