yes. the instruction states that the aat folder from z: should be copied to c: and then overwrite some of the att files from swmail's pack. i missed this part also on my initial try and sound didn't come out good. i re-checked everything and found out i missed that part of the instrucion. sound is okay now. much,much better...

Tried to do this mod, but couldn't get past hacking the phone to access c:\\sys. The Python prog runs but doesn't change anything. Still can't see sys folder in File Manager.
Am I missing something? |

OK, disregard previous post. I tried a different python program and it ran better, found what it should have done and made the changes. Then I used SMan instead of File Manager and it *can* see the sys folder, and change it.
So everything works. Just needed a bit of perseverance!

how can I tell if the modding was successful? I applied the mod on a fresh new phone before trying the stock sound. Now I can't really tell. yeah, dumb me.

can sum1 just clarify this with me, that means in my c/sys/bin/10200.... file i have a folder called ATT files which i copied over from the Z drive and then i have the 'content' (not the folder) of the ATT file from my computer |
