@fijbert
Where did you get yours? How much did you pay? Does it work with your current provider? If so, was it as simple as dropping in your old SIM card?
Thanks in advance,

As far as I am aware the p800 was approved for release on UK networks in December, but SE won't release it yet due to logistical problems and service centre issues apparently.
All this business about a phone being "approved" for use on UK networks really only applies to Orange & T-Mobile. SIM Free phones can be used at any time on Vodafone or O2 if they are available, no network approval is needed.
Would people be interested in buying Import SIM Free P800's??? What would you be prepared to pay??
If enough people are interested, then I would be prepared to import as many as needed and then sell them to you. Obviously the more ordered I can secure a lower price per unit.
Hope this helps you who can't wait!!

People, be patient please! Do not act as children! After few months, it will be a half that price! There is too much competition on this market

If i did buy an import P800, would i still be able to send it off to a service center under warranty?

I was drunk when i broke my stick (sounds painful) but after examination by my mate (if is the phone debuggeriser at my local phone shop) it was clear that it wasnt my fault. The actual blue nob bit came unstuck and has sheared off some plastic on its way off. Its bloody annoying having to use my finger nail to move anywhere!

Hi Psykotik and Superluminova
Superluminova
Trust is a question I thought you'd ask. Basically you can view before you buy, or we can arrange something else to ensure you are confident. I have great experience in importing mobile phones, so the logistics is no problem for me, its part of my job!

The P800 has an EU warranty so you're covered. However during the initial few weeks the UK service centres probably won't be able to do much for you in the way of physical repairs, but upgrading software is no problem. Once it is released in the UK, you will have the same warranty as a UK P800.
Any questions, post them here and I'll be happy to answer them

I don't have the P800's yet as there isn't enough interest. I can't lay out for them and then have no one buying them!
Once enough people want them, it will only take 2-3 working days to get them.
Price will be around £595 ish including next day insured UK delivery. Is that too expensive???
