Reading through all the posts the common theme is that if you are paid £150.000 per week you should be able to score a penalty from 12 yards, fair point i guess, but every one is human and makes mistakes.
Ronaldo may be paid £150,000 per week but what about the amount of money he atracts to man utd in
Sponorship deals and shirt and ticket sales
And considering he is about to be voted European player of the year i think he is worth it.
When David Beckham joined Real Madrid for £25m they made his transfer fee back in a matter of months through Endorsements, ticket and shirt sales etc
Beckham`s shirt sales alone outsold the rest of the Real madrid team combined 2-1 quite an acomplishment considering madrid had Raul,Zidane cassilas and Roberto Carlos (And no i m not a Real madrid Fan either)

Nobody is denying he is a good player there both exceptional but they ruin it with the diving and such like, there both a bunch of fairies. Good players treat the game and opposition with respect, simple as that.
