have we lost interest in F1 this year?
What do people think about Hamilton running into Kimmi? and about the penalty he got of a 10 place drop down the grid on the next race?
I'm quite disappointed with Lewis, this was his race and he messed up. I don't think Kimmi had much of a chance in this one but I'm very happy it was BMW that won this one and not Ferrari. |

hamilton runing into kimi was such a dumb mistake. i'd say it was a rookie error except that he isn't a rookie anymore although he still acts like one every so often. he was warned by his team about the red light, and not one but two drivers noticed the light and were able to stop at the pit exit.
ah well, i've completely given up on mclaren anyway. ever since hakkinen's last title in 1999, the one thing that mclaren have been the absolute masters of is snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. it seems that hamilton will fit that mold quite well... |

as a Brit, im a Mclaren and Hamilton fan.
That was a proper "D'oh" moment from him!
Definate well done to Kubica, he's been pushing that BMW to its limits and deserved his first win.
F1 has really got the excitement back with the removal of the traction control and the new young breed of drivers! |

Thunderstorms expected for tomorrow.
Even though Lewis is on P13, he can pull one out of the bag.

naa, think he's on a 3 stopper as its the quickest way round with the short pit lane and type of track.
but when it comes to passing, hes the best so really hope he can show us some magic! |

I'd love nothing more than that but I don't see him saving this one. It would take a miracle. In such a case I'm rooting for Kovalainen and Kubica. I dislike Ferrari so much that I wish for even Toyota to win.
For me it's McLaren then BMW, the rest I couldn't care less.

If Kimi can do it, Lewis is capable too.
Yeah, BMW have made a big impression on me this season, the quality of Rob Kubica is amazing! I'm hoping for a McLaren or BMW win this season!

Last season he (Lewis) was mostly let down by the car, this year he is his own worse enemy. He is too prone to mistakes. If he does make at least the top three I'd be ecstatic!

seems to me that Lewis is kind of like a rookie still.. one amazing rookie season doesn't get you in the same league as the seasoned drivers.. great drivers are not made out of one amazing rookie season - its one race after every race
correct me if i'm wrong - jacques villenueve also did had an amazing rookie season (?) - but where is he now?
cheers to this suddenly "alive" very much interesting thread

Two weeks ago it was a BMW one two and today was Ferrari. McLaren one two next...? Once again my favourite driver (rookie) did his usual costing him a few places and points. Lewis needs to pull himself together, it's getting a tad boring and irritating. Every race since Monaco he has a mishap. Good performance from Kovalainen! Nice one for Toyota as well. Congratulations to *sigh* Ferrari.
