you had us all awed and surprised at the MWC.
mr. dicky did a great job of keeping and guarding you as a secret.

Cannot beleive it. I hope this doesnt encourage sony ericsson to release more handsets that are totally useless! I sold mine for £80 in the endto put toward a w960. (i got it for a swap for an s500 coz my mates mrs couldnt stand it either) It was the most frustrating sony ericsson handset i've ever owned. and I really do appreciayte SE handsets.
1. Signal was awful it refused to send texts because of no network coverage whilst my n95 classic on the same network had no problems at all. The same goes for calls anywhere at all where the signal was poor and my w910 had no bars no coverage while my n95 wud muster 2bars.
2.Build quality the silver paint round the edge of the phone wore off all around making the handset look scruffy. My number 5 key had a hair line crack not unlike my w580.
3.Sound quality of speaker. The W850 kills this handset dead the speaker was tinny and crackled if your ring tone was set to its loudest setting. this is a walkman phone remember so a good speaker like the w850's is a must in my book. The media players itself slowed the handset so badly when using stereo bluetooth head phones that i had to giv up and use wired while txting. The media album for images was infuriatingly slow when you were searching for an image.
I waited as long as possible for a decent firmware update to fix the software problems but it never came so the phone went. I sold it to a shop as I couldnt honestly sell it to a friend as I would have been accused of selling them a faulty handset which is technically what SE did with this model. It was a shame coz I do like the changes SE made to the UI including being to create a shortcut on the standby screen for java apps.
If SE ever fix the faults and when this phone drops below £99 new i may give it another go but my last one left a bad taste in my mouth roll on the X1 |

It looks like the world likes your products a lot more then whiners on this forum (*Couch QVGA cough*).
Dont listen to peoples whinging and whining here, keep on making quality products.

I too have owned the red w910i, I thought it to be too "plastik" for my taste.
If I could choose the most beutefull phone "design-wise" I have to say K850i for 2007.

well, lets put it this way
The judges (people who are in better position than all of us) came to a conclusion that w910 functions and features as a handset is simply BEST amongst all those considered/ nominated for the award.
Its already a fact. w910 is the BEST handset. Nothing can change that

I read a review of this phone and it said Media Files slow to a crawl when in use and its very buggy. Though im sure it will be fixed with software updates. I like the look of it i played with it in O2 shop. I think it probably is best alrounder as even though it has 2 mega pixel camera the snaps can be used just for fun and they do look good on the phones screen but not so good on pc. You decide. I like it.

Argh, you still don't get it, do you? it's about the whole "phone" experience. Not the most feature-packed phone.
The phone has to be affordable, elegant and must have the basic features a modern phone should.

Affordable Don't get me wrong, I love the phone, its one of the best looking I have ever seen aswell, however its the most over priced phone I have ever seen also!
