Can anyone actually confirm that the K850i is one of the loudest as thats what GSM Arena.com said in their reviews.
i very DISAGREE, K850 got just avg. speaker volume.
handsfree sounds is nearly little louder compared to regular speaker.
think motorola rocker E1 got supreme sound very clear and loud |

GSMArena reckon T650 is the loudest SE, according to their hardware test......
I very much doubt it's louder than Nokia 6233 though)......
And I do mean LOUDER(not necessarily: clearer/better quality/better soundstaging/wider frequency handling)!

Yes i used to have a Nokia 6233 and boy was it loud. The quietest phone i had was SonyEricsson W880i. Very poor.

N95 has an exceptional speaker system. Its extremely loud, and has some bass element in it too.

Nokia N73 is very loud too with great stereo speakers though with no bass like the 6233. Has anyone heard those Samsung phones with Bang & Oufslen amp inside. Well thats what Samsung says is inside them.

Are we talking about earpiece volume here, or speakerphone volume? Because I think most people agree that recent SE phones have pitiful low earpiece volume.
I believe a few years ago there was a motorola phone with 3 speakers that had an exceptionally loud speakerphone, louder than anything else out there. I forget the model though.
EDIT: Found it. Its the Motorola E398. Here is what GSMArena said about its volume:
"By maximum loudness the intensity of sound is so high that by resounding tones the battery cover vibrates and you can feel it in the palm. If the phone lies down on the table at that time, it bounces to the rhythm and passes on the table. You should keep that in mind and do not put the phone set with maximum volume on high-situated places, where it might fall down from."

Yes but who in their right mind would buy any Motorola phone i detest them. I also agree that quite alot of recent SonyEricsson phones have quiet earpiece volume. They did make a mistake in the K550i too. They made the earpiece so loud it distorted BADLY. Come on SonyEricsson Nokia make great loud clear call quailty surely you can too. 2 best SE phones for call quality W900i and P800i. AND THEIR OLD. Call quality gets neglected cos of advanced features these days.

I thought the N81 was king of the loudness hill these days... The W600 is definitely mighty loud at all times and although the W800 is extremely quiet through the Walkman, it rings LOUD!!! It can match the W600's volume, but only while ringing and it can definitely blow an E398 out of the water. I don't know what E398 they tested, but the ones I've tried definitely can't match a W800 ringing. Nokia 1100 is also really loud but I suppose that doesn't count |

My W800i also had a very, very loud speakerphone. Well, not so much when on a call, but the ringer was LOUD. It actually hurt your ears on full volume, but that was because it was 100% treble (no bass) and was piercingly loud. If you set the radio to speakerphone, it could also get very loud. My T650i is no where as loud as my W800 was on speakerphone. |

w900 has a loud sound output. its sound even has a richer bass element (even if MegaBass is not activated) than w800, w810 and w550.
