So sorry you took exception to my posts and all it meant was that how many hits a site receives has nothing to do with how successful or good an company's products are.
As neither you i or anyone else knows why the site has received so many hits do we ? That was all i was pointing out but some appear to see this as a sign as just how great SE are compared to other manufacturers and i just don't see any correlation between the two, for all we know it may receive so many hits from people looking for troubleshooting problems they are having with thier devcies or just looking to see what models are coming soon.
The reference to normal people meant people that can understand that hits on a website count for very little and is not the wonderful thing or conclusive proof some are trying to make it seem which seems pretty logical to me doesn't it to you?
Also if people have a problem with what i post i would appreciate it if they were man enough to be able to challenge my opinons directly rather than finding the need to bother a mod because they don't like what i have said. I mean really it would be one thing if i was constantly telling lies but i haven't noticed myself doing that have you ? and if i have point it out to me and as always if and when i am wrong i will apologise to the Forum.
Or have i missed a new rule for 2008 that has come into effect where once again we are only allowed to praise SE no criticism allowed, because if that's the case you will no longer have to worry about anything i post as i will just visit the many other forums i belong to where none of these problems seems to arise. So if any have a problem with my posts be man enough to stand up and challenge MO as at least that way you will at least gain my respect.
By the way i have more snide remarks and cheap shots taken at me than possibly anyone else on the forum and all for expressing MO and beliefs, maybe i should start running to the mods to get them removed and people temporarily banned as well then. but then I'm man enough to fight my own battles and quantify my statements and facts.

You know what.......If Nokia were on top of list among Cellphone websites......then some people might have started to praise Nokia............Oh Wow Nokia is Best and blah blah blah......NOW the position is that when they see is doing something good then they start to explain the results and correlate with sales and earning to bash it.....they have to write a loooong paragraphes to make people understand that Hey ! look is behind Nokia.....blah blah blah...

Sorry but that is just absurd Nokia sell more devcies and have the largest single market share and no amount of hits on a website will make any difference will it. What's more there sales and market share continues to grow so no one has any need to tell anyone else how good or successful Nokia are there sales figures and thier market share say all that needs to be said and speak for themselves and they are not No:1 without good reason.
If you believe these figures prove anything lets wait and see on the 16th SE's reports on thier market share and sales as really that is all that counts how many hits a website site gets is totally irrelevant to both of those things isn't it?

Insuating I'm not man enough to fight my own battles. Ouch! Now that IS a cheap shot.
Moderators are there for a reason and myself, and anyone else for that matter, should feel free to use them as and when needed, regardless of how much you might belittle people who might even consider the idea.
Regarding the topic, I'm not doubting your facts at all or rubbishing your opinion, its your antagonising manner of posting which has been the cause of many an upset in the past and I'm sure you, unfortunately more than most, are fully aware it can lead to threads turning nasty and people receiving bans.
As for myself gaining your respect if I don't go to a moderator, you seem to be under the misguided impression that I imagine I WOULD be worse off for not having your respect. Think again.

sranjanm2002, I think this is just part and parcel of life.... There are people who tend to get pissed off and defend and bash them when their favourite brands are not doing so well at some departments... (For eg... Fans getting back at websites for posting bad reviews about their favourite brand products, and debating like no tomorrow against other brands...) Thats the sad part of life and we have to live with it somehow...Even we are fighting sometimes xD |

I see it's alright for you and others to insult me and MO and claim all sorts of rubbish about devcies i use but the truth about SE is not allowed very strange. Well sorry to disappoint you but if you seriously think i am actually worried or care what any of you think of me or feel i need or want anyone else's respect and that is why i post you are wrong. I post my opinions because they are what they are not to win friends or influence people I'm not trying to become popular by playing to the masses. But there are plenty here that see the sense of what i say well at least some of the time any way. i speak the truth and the way i see it i don't view SE through rose tinted glasses where they do no wrong and it's not just SE either. I will criticise any manufacturer if and when they do wrong and as this is a forum are we not meant to be able to freely express our opinions how ever unpopular they may be with some. Or am i supposed to ignore the bad things and only talk about the good and i only engage in sarcasm once antagonised or insulted which happens far to often but as that is from SE supporters that's allowed is it?
I was going to leave this thread alone but as long as people see fit to attack me i will always respond and defend MO. You know what if this gets me banned so be it as if that happens i will not return ever and really don't feel that will be my loss at all. I was asked to leave this thread alone but have been antagonised so have responded. Maybe Esato and it's loyal SE supporters that just can't acknowledge the truth and this just isn't the place for me anymore anyway only time will now tell.
