when I get back...sure. Hopefully the price will be less ridiculous too.
Or I might just look for it in Italy - it costs 799 Euro, SIM unlocked and unbranded. Cheap.

Think it'll be chaeper here when u return. Also remember if u get it in Italy our good old Juma Al Majid won't do warranty stuff on it.

That Rana called me yesterday! She told me the P800 will be reelased in the UAE next week in Axiom, Aptec Mobiles and JM. The price will be determined by THOSE companies, so we shall see some different prices altogether. Lets hope its cool enough to be as wat I heard (around 2000 AED) Hope no more than 2500 at the most...

Does any of you have any experiences with Etisalat's GPRS M-Net service? Is it any good? What's the typical D/L speed? Coverage? |

ummm - is that a fact or speculation, Ejasim? In theory, GPRS was supposed to be about 3 times faster than standard GSM data transfer....
But with Etisalat...you never know. |

I've seen the test of GPRS at Gitex 2 years ago and there it ran at 128kb/s, no sh*t. Etisalat guy was demonstrating it....but then again - they're full of crap. |
