the gsmarena cam shootout poll shows the tendency of people to favor pictures with more saturated colors (the same kodak colors loved in the '80s)
even in the expense of color accuracy, people chose the unrealistic color rendition of n95. the last test shot (macro of a flower) showed how much over saturation of nokia can bend reality.
and that is not what capturing memories is all about.. that is what you call capturing illusions.
that is not how to preserve details/imprints of precious moments IMO |

*K850 should have, at this point in time, had a ccd sensor. Cmos is getting there but not quite. Sony makes the camera module in the i-mobile 902 and that cam-phone takes the best images IMO. Cybershot branded of similiar mp's shouldn't leave a question as to who is best in the photo game.
*The light sensor should have been in different position, so it wouldn't be affected by photographer.
*Different finish, as everyone has said.
*Mixed feelings about internal lens cover. Its cool and does provide a completely "flat" surface to clean. As oppose external cover and having to clean actual lense which is concave and hard to get nooks around edge with shirt or napkin. But just seems like something to break in time. Maybe it'll last forever, who knows?
*video recording
*I think keys would have looked sharper if they were similiar to t650's metal buttons. Would have to see it all together to really pass judgement.
*wifi- really just intially during setup of phone to download themes and what-not from home wireless network. Not something I need, but could be handy.
*fast-port/3.5mm/in-line mic bundled with phone.
Can't think of anything else. I think the size of the phone is right at the limit to be comfortable in your pocket. Screen size is good. Thats about it.

gps i just a toy...you play with it some days, then its boring..(sure, if you travel a lot it maybe useful...but how often do you realy need a gps ???
i have never used a gps on land...why should i, i found my places... (we have a real gps on our boat. it manage water-splashes, etc.....i dont think you want to sit in a boat and navigate with your new N82
like i said...you play with it some days, then its boring stuff...........
ps..if you realy need a gps...buy a gps puck....they works faster then a intregate gps..........
gps puck have often also a magnet, so you can place it on the roof on your car...then you get a even better gps...
(they also (sometimes) manage rain/water)
when a cell phone gps have the same speed like our Garmin boat gps...i want one

I agree on a bigger screen and vga video recording. Im sure they can fit a 2.4" onto it without changing the size too much, and I dont mind the keys being 1mm closer together to save space. Also 16million colours of course, I can see the colour seperation on the blue lazer flash theme too much. And Geforce mobile graphics would be awesome. |

the d-pad isn't very good, really far from the touch sensitive center button, and an optical zoom on the camera is all what K850i needs |

What makes the keypad in general hard to get use to is that it seems they reversed everything for some reason. Even the zoom button/rocker is opposite of past SE's.
