Vi vet! Vi är redan vana att se alla dina knivskarpa foton i skala 1:10.

I always knew k850i video recording was better then other handsets: Qvga 320x240 at 30 fps says it all.
Well actually it doesn't... compression plays a huge factor here. The K800 compresses the video waaay too much (the blockiness you see) in order to achieve any decent motion (15 fps plus for anything like normal looking motion).
I would guess the K850's processor and additional pixel count on the camera sensor allowed SE to make a much more efficient CODEC. The better the images quality going into the CODEC the better the resulting compressed file will be. Less noise to compress in the 1st place. |

@chombos1...i have explain why the FPS change in my videos..(its nothing wrong with my k850.....i think you misunderstand some things here)
when you use night profile you hoax the camera its realy dark, but instead you give the camera more light then its need...(there you have why night profile gives less fps)................

@joemax...yes it does, IF you record like you "suppose" to do
5 MP, 2592х1944 pixels, video(QVGA@30fps)...........

Video is 384 kbps, I think VGA at that bit rate would have a much lower quality. Higher bit rate would require a stronger processor and stronger processor would be draining more power... |

i don't understand...what has the amount of light got to do with fps? it'll be nice if there's a function to actually choose the fps when doing a recording. one would think it's better to have a consistent fps then one that varies through playback |

@plankgatan
i know what are you saying...
but i think you didn't get what i'm trying to say;
if you look closely to the recordings : all of them begin smoothly with 30fps and then due to a software bug (i think so) after some seconds each frame is recorded twice in the video making an actual 15 fps or less(but having 30 frames in a second).
i know that the night profile will lessen the fps. but it shouldn't be in normal mode!!!
besides after updating my brother's K850 it now records the whole video in 30fps in normal mode. |

I have exactly the same problem u stated, so annoying about it. Everytime I record a clip, it starts with high fps like 26,27, and then drops to about 14 to 15 frames per sec. I tried to update the service online, but it says 'no update available!' Any help or suggeston pleeeeeease? |
