Its a custom Rom or Cooked Rom on the touch its basically a customised version of the firmware for the touch but modded by the community.

You know you can unlock the touch and use any sim and the unlock works on Orange UK. The touch are pretty resilient handsets I am only selling it because it does not really fulfill my needs. If you get stuck with the touch, just give me shout and I will try and help you but there are others on here who also can. I mean I was by djtwister when deciding on whether to flash a new rom or not. The black and blue rom is nice and fast. The home screen is the Kaiser home screen and not the touch one.

cooked rom sometimes is a good alternative to compete with the current devices, it was the case when i had my TYTN1 and flashed with the cooked rom, it felt so smoooth! in fact much smoother

but that was after my warranty expired though, should the warranty still applies, just make sure you have the original rom, just in case if you have to flash it back for a repair to the manufacturer

As Jankotil suggest I would hold off until after your warranty has expired.

As to getting the original rom thats kinda difficult i.e Orange you would need to ask in ELF section of the xda-developper forums to see if anyone backed it up.
