Humm... too many speed optimizations seem suspect..
Maybe your phone was in need for a hard reset?

@mobilemodman
You're not being paranoid at all. I think green tint is there with all its glory. I'm going to post a pic in a sec.
Here is the latest picture:
I like the new camera layout though.

Hmmm, which site do you guys all go to for the update. I just checked the US site and there's nothing new. Hmm.. I also checked the UK site and there's nothing new. That's weird.

As in the update service from the website or the software? I checked thru the websites and there's nothing. still 2.7.9.14-1. I'll check thru the software.
And man your camera seems to be really bad. The colour is completely different in the middle compared to the sides. Mine is not as bad even prior to this new update. Or maybe it is and I haven't noticed. I'll check.

Hi all,
I just updated my firmware and I must admit opening calendar has never this speedy before, same with many applications. Possibly allocated more ram in software opening? Hmm...
Shame the camera still has the green tint, I wonder why Sony hasn't fixed this problem :S . Personally I think the camera is a software issue as the hardware is built to exceed the standard in cmos sensor making.
The phone is more functional now as programs takes that bit quicker to open, with animation turned on that is.

Usually after a FW update blackberry stops working and another one that works is released soon afterwards. |

Firmware updates are language specific? There's no update for my phone (Norway). |

@jabbadabba, as usual firmware updates come first for generic handsets (CDA/1 and CDA/2)
