I was hoping that you would read this thread since its all about this issue rather than simply reposting the same question from the other thread!

but... if you do read this thread this seems to be a common problem so if this is a major problem for you then return the phone for a refund

The bottom left corner on the back of my phone can be pressed slightly in and out but the rest of it is fine. It makes no sound yet, but chances are it could easilly come loose in the future.

Im not too fussed about returning just yet, its covered on warranty for the next 18 months and I have insurance on it too. If it does break or get too loose, I can get it changed at any time I want before the end of the contract.

I have the same little tiny "gap" on mine. It flexes a tiny bit so to speak at the bottom.

I fixed this in around 5 seconds by folding a little tiny bit of paper and placed it between the sim-card and the chassie. ( Make sure you place it so you can get it out again though )

A regular "SE-quick-fix" like i have made so many times before on other models. No big deal and easy to do

What it really needs (and what SE could do themselves) is fit one of those foam pads to the inside of the compartment door (or whatever it's called!). [addsig]

it's a shame really... the k800 had a great solid feel... you'd think they'd improve open it and they tried too... with a one piece back... but nevertheless it creaks...

oh well at least it's doesn't wobble....

@indup
I've had it for 12 days. I'd rather get it replaced than hang onto it and have to take it to a service centre. I just want one that feels well built, then I'm happy to wait for software updates to resolve those issues. [addsig]

I had a look on their site and I found it very unclear whether it was 7, 14, or 28 days! [addsig]

I've just had my K850 replaced (after going to 3 CPW stores to find one that had stock!). The build quality feels significantly better; the back is no longer loose (although time will tell) and neither is the screen (this was really annoying on my old handset as it would creak during a call).

Now, just the software niggles to sort out... [addsig]
