Was looking at the body glove... not sure how well it will work with the light sensor and touch buttons!

@only me

How about because at the time the P1 wasn't as yet supported and here's a really novel idea how about because this is what SE said it would have.

I bet if you went at it with a screwdriver it wouldn't be scratchproof.

The thing that's bugged me about the K850 screen being scratched is it's the first screen I've managed to scratch since my T630 (and they had very flimsy screens) - and that had an easily replaceable faceplate.

I've been thru the K700, W800, W900, W810 and K800 since then with perfectly scratch free days. Now the first week I happen to get a phone that was touted as being scratch resistant and it's scratched!

i've got some scratches too...

is the exposed area the actual screen?
can this be fixed easily without a new screen?

If I remember well, they have mentioned scratch resistant glass cover on the camera. Anyway, whatever. Mine is very good, considering its glossy surface.

Here, the best thing for your phone without affecting the original look or requiring a bulky case or a pouch to keep it in. Read through thread.

Only Diamond is SCRATCH-PROOF.

Scratch-resistant and scratch-proof are very different. Scratch-proof means it cannot be scratched whatsoever. Like a waterproof watch. It can go under water to whatever depth the manufacturer claims it is water-proof until.

Scratch-resistant means it offers a fair resistance, but it is not "proofed" against scratches. It will resist to an extent, but it will get scratches if the right pressure is applied or the right material is used to scratch it.

The new SE C702 is dust and splash RESISTANT. Don't expect to be able to dunk it in water or to cover it in dust like some of their promotional pictures.
