Most of the photos posted here were taken indoors if not, nightscenes... the weakest point of k850 and N95. this factor only showcases it's power to kill the best cameraphones on market and this is a great slap in the face of both SE and Nokia Claiming to be the best mobile imagers on the market

To me, the i-mobile 902 is a worthy replacement for a P&S camera.
Another camera phone producing photos of similar quality is the LG KG920 (and at least one guy at HWZ who have tried both phones says that the LG model is better), but unfortunately it's price tag is the double of the i-mobile 902's. MR called the KG920 "amazingly expensive" when they reviewed it last year. The reason for the price difference is the high-quality build with Titanium for the case, plus that the camera part twists like Nikon's old Coolpix digicams.

i saw KG920 sample pics already, and they are comparable to the 902s but they loose terribly when it comes to performance. and the yellow cast issue on GSMArena review...

It just goes to show that lens size and megapixels aren't factors for ordinary cam-phone photos. it's in the sensor. S700i and i-mobile have proved this.

I can't even imagine a dedicated Digicam can do that. and to think it came from a phone cam? I've always thought these kind of pics are domain of Bulky and expensive DSLRS!

And I've never thought a cam-phone could have that fast a shutter speed to capture droplets. sorry if i post a lot. i just couldn't believe what i'm seeing.

The shutter speed is actually quite slow, only 1/16 second. But the light in the room is not enough to illuminate the flight of drops so the flash helps to freeze them.

very true...it is certainly difficult to capture that shot as opposed to k850i and importantly one needs to have lot of patience to get a right shot.
902 has great cam and speaker but it can't play quality music through earphones like SE phones do. I seriously hope that SE would use better sensor in their next phone.

OCWorkbench posted a very positive review of the KG920 and their sample shots do not show the same yellow cast. They made an interesting comparison with a Nikon Coolpix 4300 with samples on pages 6, 7 and 8. And in the conclusion on page 9 they said that the KG920 was better than the digicam!

well, above flower is quite small, here is the reference picture to see really how small it is:
Actually coin and the flower are of the same size but as the coin is held under the flower it gives the impression that flower is little bigger.
It was quite windy and hard to get good pics. See you guys, have a nice weekend.
Update:All pictures were taken on overcast and windy day.

I don't know. I think my daytime shots posted above are quite sharp. I have a few more in the Photos section. But on the other hand, one explanation could be that most i-mobile 902 owners take extreme care not to move the phone while shooting low-light shots and keep the phone on a stand or some other object, while shooting daytime/indoor photos the phone is usually hand-held and even minor movement or hands trembling will take away some of the clarity.
The i-mobile 902 put priority on producing good photos and adjust shutter times accordingly, usually towards the slower region. This puts more demands on the user and some people may find it difficult to produce good photos with this phone. Most other camera phone vendors put priority on easy-of-use and photo quality suffer.

This is Night mode. This gives a maximum of 4 seconds shutter time. Auto mode gives a maximum of one second. There is no manual mode. ISO can be adjusted Auto/50/100/200. I would have preferred ISO 400 also, like on the KG920.
