Hi Nisarg,

I had already tried what you suggested. In fact I also tried cleaning the contacts with alcohol, but no luck!! Refuses to show any charging indicator and does not come on. Guess the headset is trashed! Thanks anyway.

Hi Nisarg!!

No I didn't buy it from eBay. Bought it from the Sony Ericsson shop at Frankfurt airport and it is definitely original. It does not have any of the issues listed on that weblink.

Besides, the sound was absolutely perfect - bass and treble balanced and clear. Its really unfortunate. Since I am in India, i will have to try and send it to someone overseas to get it looked at.

have you ever thought of the battery being fully drained out?or gone out of order???

In fact, the first thing I thought of was the battery!! But I fugured it can't be that bad that it would be completely gone in just 8 months of rather infrequent use!!
