machanic, the sunfire acoustic pack on my CID 49 K800 is loud (earpiece and loud speaker) but too much treble. Still in search of the perfect acoustics driver for K800. Too bad the modded K750 acoustics don't work on our phones. Hope someone can help us K800 users.

shuyin1946, powerful bass when you are listening with headphones? I'd like to try the W880i acoustics. Do you have the link to it? I've tried the W850 and the treble is slightly higher then original K800 acoustics that came with the phone.

I understand the K series will not be as loud as W series but the treble levels should be lower. But the K750's I have heard that are modded are extremely loud and clear. Treble is at perfect levels. Will mongoose mod a n amazing acoustics driver for the K800?

i like the sunfire acoustic + the zapf megabass v6.
loudspeaker produce lots of treble and in headset it much quiet, as the combination reduce the treble from sunfire.

Hi,

I like sunfire's acoustics for the K790, they are brilliant and I hardly notice too much treble. Plus the click noises have gone louder as well.

Well Thanks! Sunfire

So which one of these 2 is louder? I mean I like louder acoustics with less treble. Which one of these is better?

hmm for my case is yes.

i first extract the whole folder (sunfire) to the acoustic folder,
followed by extraction of megabass folder in it and overwrite 4 files.
after that. then i start the FSX.

the result is satisfactory for me, but the headset volume is less compared to sunfire alone. however, the overall quality (headset)is much better than sunfire alone as the treble is not so "bright".

tere's some having K790 and Megabass V4 acoustic, but personally i've not tried both of them yet. when i got the time, i'll try the K790 and all the acoustic available to find which is the best.

Good luck

~edit
for me:
headset = sunfire+megabass > sunfire (but not loud)
loudspeaker = sunfire > sunfire+megabass (but the difference are slight)

I don't think I can come up with anything that beats so dubbed K790 driver. Note - these drivers are not orig K790 files. All I know is I have been using them for a while now and I am more than happy with them - The volume is great - they could almost make your ears bleed. The only critism I have is that every driver I have tried for the K800 has the same "hissing" that used to bug me with the W800. But compared to the original K800 drivers the K790 drivers are miles ahead. If you use the preset EQ settings the Hissing is not too bad and still very loud.
