My T68i does this also. I'm syncing Outlook Calendar items too. I thought that perhaps this was happening due to an appointment being on the current date.

I've tested by deleting all appts. on the current date and the next date, setting the time to 11:45PM and letting the date "roll over". Phone powers on ... and stays on. Will not turn off. BT being on or off makes no difference either. There are no alarms config's either.

Firmware is R3E002 - T-Mobile purchased from Amazon.com in Nov 02

i like the sacrifice solution, though

if it doesn't work u must try with other NOKIA models, perhaps

Now seriously, my girlfriend had a MOTOROLA that fell into a bucket of water (not joke!), and asked me to take it to a center, to see if there was any repair chance, and tha damn thing just turned on alone in the middle of tha night!!! i almost hit tha roof with fright!!!
but thenagain i guess it's not humidity, 'cause it wouldn't do that precisely at 0 hours, right

the one i say did it randomly, so i guess that's not it

must be a software bug like the other guys say - HEY, why don't u e-mail directly? maybe this is old news for them...

My T68i had the same problem. After talking to Ericsson customer service, I upgraded to the latest software version (R6A012). This has fixed the problem. No more midnght madness!
