both menu systems have their obvious strengths and weaknesses so i cant really say which one's better. but they're both OK.

If you guys want to compare menu systems this way, why not throw in the 9210 and the P800 AND the Pocket PC Phone Edition for good measure?

Just for the hell of it, throw in the Treo and Motorola (the touchscreen flip phone) too.

I actually quite liked the (M) Accompli 008 menu system...
It was rather intuitive and nice to use for possibly everything maybe except making phone-calls And the pointing-device was very nice and geeky (but I absolutely _loath_ big M's ordinary menues)

Yes Nokia has no overview.... They just show one icon at a time, it's such a waste of a nice screen...

And 7650 uses symbian and not Nokia menus...

No, 7650 uses Nokia menus not Symbian menus. Series 60 is a Nokia designed UI running on top of Symbian OS.

Nokia has currently four different UI categories: Series 30, Series 40, Series 60 and Series 80. So, if you want to compare different UIs you need to include these from Nokia.

Series 30, 40 do not have menu overviews. Series 60 does... (And Series 80 is the communicator UI.)

well they're using people who have never used the phones before. after a week of owning my t68i i was pretty sure no other menu system was bettter. it's jsut a matter of getting used to. they should be comparing the phones with people who've played around with both phones for at least a week. noone 's going to buy a 7650 becuase the t68i takes a few more days to get used to.

for me anything that is touch screen is way better than anything else.

i don't use mice for computers. wacom tablets instead.

and i'm looking forward to a tablet pc.

the point is that you don't have to "scroll" or "move" to reach the option or button you want. you just clic in the exact point. so much directly.

p800 for me
