As usual - very ugly phone from SE.
And why again tri-band GSM + 3G, not quad-band GSM + 3G??? |

Interesting announcement which begs a few questions; Why couldn't this have a xenon flash or even two LEDS and be Cyber-shot branded?
It looks like the keypad on that rumuored text model that eveyone thought was Sofia has made an appearance too.
The T610 reborn as the T650

1. where can you put in m2 micro? it doesn't seem as if it had any aperture to put in memory stick... or is it "no hot swap" and thus M2 is placed in the phone?
2. does anybody know about the position of T series? seems to be neither cybershot nor walkman (no media player button), though very good specs in general without any of these two specials - like a rough, unpolished diamond |

Regarding the usage of Xenon flash.
Do you know how large a space would a Xenon flash require? It would had compromised the size of the device.
Regarding the M2 question.
Similar way of inserting it as with the K610. Have to remove back cover to insert/remove it.
If it's the same with the K610, it's hot swap-able. Just that you'll have to open the battery/back cover instead. This overall saves space in my opinion. |

Ahh finally the true mysterious T610i successor has arrived.
I have been waiting for this to happen.
Shame its display is that small, there is definitely room for somewhat bigger display and there is no real reason to hold the size bad, is there? |

T650i? BLah, not for me.
All this talk about the T610 successor, give it up the T610 evolved, there is no successor and if there was, it would have a shittier camera. The T610i wasn't the ONLY phone with VGA Camera when it launched and it definitely wasn't the best, very grainy.

Well how muc space does a Xenon flash require?
Does this mean there will be no slim Cyber-shot phones with a xenon flash? Its a pity if that is the case. May be they need to source a slimmer version of the flash.

@goldenface
When you take apart a xenon flash, you'll see that it also needs a fairly large capacitator to charge it. It's basically the reason why there's a 'hump' on the K800 or K810.
But this phone is brilliant. It's like a W880 with a decent camera, better design IMO, and looks like a better keypad; or at the least, the navigation looks a lot easier to use.
And the first non phone with flash menus.

got away with having the M2 slot on the outside on the W880i and that is their smallest phone.
