if everyone affected contacts the Police its a lot more likely that something will happen, with more evidence from other people they should be able to prosecute....

We will be doing batesie, just need to know whose involved so the case's can be linked as it is nationwide, good thing is my mates dad is very high up in the merseyside police force so hopefully that should help! Another effected user also has contacts which strenghthens this even more!

Good luck all of you, there does seem to be a lot of scams/scammers at the moment on here, and I think it's affecting the sales section, don't know if it's just me but I'm not seeing as many trades or phones for sales here, which is a big shame

If the police get this one sorted then it might put off future potential scammers. As well showing were willing to go all the way, when it comes to fighting scammers!!
Good luck nanu*1 and all other parties involved.

Count me in to help, I had dealings with Mr. Egdell a year ago, fortunately I did receive the phone though most accessories were missing and he never got the unlock code I'd paid him extra to get. Wasn't a huge amount, more the principal, and if any information I can give to help build a case is of any use I'll be happy with that. |
