On my phone, using Opera Mini it loads the index page at 3kb

I like the new look forum. The homepage is nice to. I would prefer the posts to be on the left hand side where they were before. Good work laffen! |

A few of my opinions:
The look is fresh but not overdone.
I am not a big fan of the new logo
I preferred the forum latest posts where they were on the home page (probably as this what I was used to).
It took a minute to find the reply button in a thread as it has been made smaller and been moved (again probably as it is different to what I am used to).
Please dont take this as bad criticism. Change is always required and as I have been on Esato nearly everyday for three years one kind of gets set in ones way.
I must also say that Laffen does a very good job keeping Esato going and updating it.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned already, but on my Firefox, I can hardly make out the online status, it's too faint. Appears fine on my IE6 though. Is it a common problem and is it gonna be fixed? Or is it my Firefox that's acting up and how should I fix it if that's the case? Thanks in advance.

2. Search box in the main page missing

Also i would like to request for newer smilies , since the whole forum is getting updated, i thought it would be a good idea to have updated smilies as well.

Indeed there is, just that maybe you're encountering the same problem as me. The online indicator appears to be very faint on my Firefox, but if you look at the screenshot by govigov just a few posts up, you'll see it. Can any other Firefox users comment if they're encountering the same problem? Thanks.

I am using firefox and unable to see who is online!
I have just tried using IE7 and i can't see who is online using that either, i have to turn my monitor brightness all the way down in order to read the text!
