I guess the MAIN page NEEDS some refurbishing . . . LIKE giving MORE emphasis on the fones that's bein' displayed . . . NOT like the ONES shown on TOP and BELOW . . . should be very visible . . . the layout on the TITLES (of threads) on the LEFT-side of the page shoild be COLORED and NOT plain-black . . . like the - XML Mobile icon lit up in orange hue posted below the front page . . .

MORE color . . . NOT just plain GREY and BLACK on the MAIN page . . .

OF course it will NOT - BREAK, unless it's bein penetrated by the CARIBE virus ! That's why a little color-painting is needed . . . [addsig]

isn't that the idea of a forum for it to be crammed full of text?

Also we shouldn't forget, that Esato has members from all over the world, not everyone has broadband internet, with a modem and maybe an older pc it's almost impossible (and expensive), to load "flashy" sites.

It's the content of Esato (and not the looks) which attracts phone lovers of all ages and from all countries.

I agree with others here : "When it ain't broken, don't fix it" !

Well i must say i have to agree with you, not many people have broadband. I don't have broadband. I am using GPRS which is very slow but can work with, the web cam stick but not more that 20sec and my favorite macromedia site for feb was www.sonyericsson.com/3gsm. Took less than 8min to load each section which was not bad i had to wait but not long so what i am trying to say is that the site could be improve.

The editor dont have use flash but some more colours could be shown. I know there are some impatient person so i would recommend flash for improvement. [addsig]

Well.... maybe some "coloring" wouldn't hurt... don't you guys think??

But in general, it's just fine the way it is. It works, it gives good information and it's easy to navigate.

What else can you ask for??

the forum theme looks just great: readable and simple. I love the colors layout.

one thing I wish though, is to be taken to my post (the latest post) whenever I reply in a thread and not to the first post.

Two well known expressions spring to mind.
"a change is as good as a rest"
"change or die"
The quality of posting and contributions to this forum is superb, the actual structure and framework in which those posts are contained is stagnant and archaic.

change or die... Strong words! As strong as "psuedo"/"wierdo" ? Archaic spelling? Pretty weird verbal links in your "sig"...
And if "change or die" isn't the motto of some "psuedo" relidgeeon out there, I eat my phone! "archaic" used in an IT-context can only be contained within a framework of clear irony!
But I shall cease and desist now, as you, sir, scare the sh*t out of me! Good night (nothing wired in my sig ither)

come again?, i see you fall into the bracket of sycophantic non entitys who just repeat parrot fashion the mantra "if it aint broke, then dont fix it".
Lets see some POSITIVE attributes of the forum being spelled out in its defence if people are so content with it in its current form.
I actually assist in running two of the best and biggest phone forums, so i am no novice in these matters.
Can you not differentiate between an attack on the forum framework and the posters therein?.

Both phrases i used are quite common and popular, though obviously not in ire-land!!
