@ JOJO
I have a 1g card on W810. The image on the S710 screen is clear and sharp. Not the case with the W810 screen.

@reo - Yeah - OK. That's what I want to ask if fones that HAVE bigger/larger screens (LCDs) produces sharper images of course we have to consider here the megapixel-count the fone has on it's - camera . . . [addsig]

IMHO not the screen size that count but screen resolution. 320x240 screen will always show better than 220x176 screen (unless the image size we show is smaller than 320x240). Actually when you view the pict on computer big LCD using photoshop on actual size, the result may not be as nice.

On Computer monitor (17") and actual size (ie 1600x1200) all imperfection will be shown. Like slight OoF, noise, etc. Also computer monitor 72dpi native resolution is not helping the case. Viewing on mobile 240x320 LCD (around 2" and 200dpi) all of this will be mask (not seen) due to interpolation.

For printing, some ppl say that it need 300dpi to get best picture (this will make 2mp 1600x1200 prints great on 5.3"x4" paper). But on untrained eyes I think even 150dpi is enough.

@han - I think they are of a different SERIES mate . . . like those of: K, J and T model fones . . . what just made me wonder is that why the S700-S710 did NOT have (as of presstime) a succeeding-model

Yeah I know it different series but if you compare it spec by spec what make it different other than Walkman. I think we can say that SE move S series to W series. Both is made in Japan (I think only SE model that is made in Japan?)

Yup, swivel-fones is kinda hard to USE, much better to choose a SLIDING (W850) than a SWIVEL (S700) . . .

To make it worse I am using that Krussel case. So swiveling the phone also needs to open the case first.

S series was a one off (only CCD based camphone), but w900 is also a twist phone, has autofocus 2mp camera (but cmos), so it's sort of a replacement for S series. W850 for example only has fixed 2MP camera.

W900 is only walkman phone with 320x240 screen AND auto-focus camera AND qvga video recording. If it wasn't a twist, I'd actually buy one, but I hate twist phones (and clamshells)
