Rip off O2 GPRS charges |

I have just switched this week from orange to O2 and far been very impressed with the network, customer care is way better the orange and im happy with the deal i get.
One thing tho i am also concerned with is the GPRS Charges.
Everything on my bill is pretty much upto date, however GPRS charges can be another 7-14 days later which to me is wrong.
I am sure that O2 are working on something as we speak.
I Hope so
I would have gone to T-mobile but the network coverage is no where the best of where i live or where i go.
In fact 4 out of the 5 places i dont get a t-mobile signal.
One this i do miss tho is 3g.
O2 3g is to be frank crap, Orange for me had fantastic 3g coverage, but everything else let it down.
Oh well i will wait and see what o2 offer during the year.
Im hoping o2 sign up with t-mobile for the 3g coverage. like orange and voda have.
That would make a vast improvement.

I agree O2 are a good network for coverage and customer care is average. But there systems are ancient despite the fact that their systems have only just last year started charging for GPRS but their systems just dont catch up quick enough so you cant keep track of it on line until its too late before your bill arrives. Its the same with Vodafone both these networks have poor systems which dont catch up with your usage quick enough and also with their spend checker bill limit which goes over your usage before the system catches up. I think O2 and Vodafones technology is still old compared to T Mobile and Orange. I know everything about all the networks.

Hey folks.
I have also been ripped off by 02 to the sum of £200 odd quid, I also know of 4 other people personnaly that are having the same problem.
The problem I have had today is that I have been dissconnected for non payment even after I was told to pay the minimum until the investigation was complete.
I have decided to do something about it, I would like to ask for you help. I have setup a forums to goto where we can communicate together I would ask you go there and register and hopefully we can get this sorted. The link is http://o2gprsripoff.proboards81.com/index.cgi

Hi all,
To be honest untill T-Mobile launched Web N Walk it was the only Network i had never used. But once i saw this tariff that was it for me as far as i was concerned £7.50 per month meant mobile data could be a reality at last as was now not only affordable but with the vast improvement in speeds was actually useable.
Just out of interest any one remember the 02 surf the mobile web ads when Wap launched if ever anything failed to live up to the marketing it was the launch of Wap as the mobile internet.
