ok guys, here's the result: ive reformated it, took test pictures and still pixilated and blurred. So I guess its the 1 month old 1gig memory stick. No wonder it was sold to me cheap! Back to the original 64mb sandisk. tsk tsk

@BobaFett, i'm not so sure if i can return it. i'll try to contact the person who sold it to me. I didnt buy it from a store. I got it from a guy who posted here that he's selling memory cards. it caught my attention cause they were priced cheap. Well, a lesson learned here, guys, hehe.
Well, thanks to all of guys for the assistance. you were all of good help, big thanx, i really appreciate it . case closed, hehehe.

Blimey, I was right about it being a mem stick problem!

Glad you got it sorted, it is indeed cheaper to replace the mem stick rather than the phone. Where did you get the mem stick from, could you return it for a refund or exchange?

strong magnetic field, in some cases heat (though mem cards are reasonably resistant to heat unless it actually melts the plastic), faulty chip or components or soldering on the pcb, manufacturing fault, static electricity......

Could be anything
