@FrankUK
Go through to O2 complaints dept, I bet they will set you up there and then!
Remember you don't get sim updates with O2 only on Orange network.
If you have a bluey/green triangle on your phone's standby screen (above signal bars) you may already be setup?! And not know it? Let use know how you get on?
It's worth waiting for!! :-D

I have to say that the so-called 'launch' of MMS by O2 has been a most pathetic spectacle.
I remember subscribing to an SMS alert last month promising early notification of MMS launch for interested parties. I have received no such alert yet.
Then on November 4th I saw a press statement saying the launch had been delayed until mid-November. Despite this, on the same day O2's web site (don't even get me started on that slow piece of crap) is happily extoling the virtues of multimedia messaging.
The evidence of this forum is that the service is patchy to say least, and that the call centre operators don't know how to set up and configure it.
Lastly they have been completely outdone by the Vodafone launch. Not only have Vodafone got better phones but they have also developed an i-mode type service and HEAVILY PROMOTED it. In addition they have launched an M-Payment system for buying thin gs like cinema tickets.
I am considering changing to Vodafone, I no longer have any confidence in O2.

It sounds like most of us are making progess albeit sabotaged by the amazing lack of knowlege & consistency at o2 cust serv centre! - they also told me that you cannot have MMS & GPRS set up together - both work fine on my phone - prize prats!
Where can I now go to get some good mms templates? - I have got the preset ones but am hungry for more!
ps - Thanx 4 your mms 24hrs cracking one m8!!

When i turn on my fone i get a green line above my reception but then it disappears. it wont dial up to GSM either - it just says "failled". o2 and singlepoint are useless! |

Dunno about Payand Go - But my contracted 02 it all set up - I did get told that GPRS & MMS Couldn't be set up together but it has (Fools) - Have you turned your phone on and off a few times - I did and then reliased they had set me up ! You get a little blue triangle over the reception status - got that then you should be ok !
