For example Nokia N80 and P990 are both based in Symbian 9.1, one using Series 60 3rd edition and the other UIQ 3.0, the interface it may be different but the core is the same exactly code, the code of Symbian 9.1, Symbian 9.1 has major memory issues so guess what both P990 and N80 has major memory management problems...

Great analysis! To others links I already read those weeks ago before I posted. Interestingly though is Nokia's purchase of another Symbian seat .... that would've given them 57% investment & deciding control which FANS & its manufacturer members & board member FOUGHT against! In earnest. I forget the sale that was pending ... I think it was Sendo or Panasonic but it was decided that Nokia not proceed - the decision was ultimately up to them. They feared their products would be boycotted worldwide. I may have my facts wrong but the topic is correct.

Oh one thing I just considered.
UIQ One Handed interface ... as in SANS-Touch screen.
Hopefully all successors to the K800, W900, w810 etc will be UIQ3 One Handed and allow for more complicated & less restrictive applications
