Yeah, I'd go with that. Worst phone I've had was my PF768. That's among 3 ericssons, 3 Nokias and 2 Motorolas (The Graphite was actually quite good for its time).
Most unreliable was my 7110 (had 4 of them) but it was still a damn good phone. |

Have to say Motorola Flare is a winner in this category. Actaully, Motorola has not redeemed themselves yet. Sticking to SE. |

i still have my 82,cause it makes good back up phone and it is exceptionally simple and reliable, never had a problem, but the lcd on my 8890 started to flake about 5 month of usage... so, in this case 8210 proven itself way more reliavble than many orher examples....

OK I have had: a motorola C520/M3788 - surprisingly never had any problems with it at all - so for a motorola thtas pretty impressive to begin with.
Nokia 3210 - again never any problems except low battery life - but that i can live with.
Nokia 6150 - I had 5 replacements for this all with faded screens which came & went - so not to good.
Nokia 3310 - mmm ok basic phone with only 1 replacement for keypad prob.
T68m - very buggy phone - likes to freeze - sometimes re-boot on wap - but I have lived with that because it has fantastic features & software upgrades which have improved it - other than short battery life. Until the other day when boom - while on wap, switch on switch off - swicth on switch off - so is with a SP at present being made well again.
While dealing with handset faults all the time at work they rank like this:
1 - 8210 - screen faults.
2 - 8310 - re-booting while sending a text.
3 - Motorola V66 - handset loosing memory/contacts - early issue where it wouldn't send texts - now some handsets have missing iTAP menu's - they are quite bad - I'm surprised they are still being sold.
4 - samsung A300 - simlock baby - locked urself out of ur handset for about a week until samsung get the unlock code.
5 - 6210 - this one loves to switch itself off.
6 - 7110 - line 2 divert symbol - while not service effecting it is annoying & loadsa problems with the flip/slider
7 - sagem MYX-5 - this was temporarily withdrawn due to software issues - but is now back - that has to be bad to get pulled.
mmm there is a nokia pattern appearing here - probably because they are the most popular handsets though - a few T68/i's have been returned for signal problems mostly. Most stable handset at the moment is the samsung T100 - don't get many of these back & ive had one for over 6 months - has only frozen once - well my essay is over

yeh i'd have to say most of the 8-series Nokias are pretty unreliable!
I had an 8210 and had to get it replaced due to LCD problems.
My friends with 8210s have also encountered this, and so have some with 8250s.
Even worse my friends' 8310s also experience s/w problems, in particular having the phonebook deleted (or messed up for no reason), and powering off for no reason. |

yeh I forgot to mention that about 8310 - T68i also likes to lose phonebook entries - wel they are there - but u can't access - tham - tip for motorola V66 owners - never let ur battery run flat or bye bye phonebook - this is quite shoddy software from some manufacturers - the consumer deserves better
