OK, you’re right… and I wasn’t explicit enough…!!
In my case, I don’t want to carry all the time with me a brick like the P800… however I’m carrying a small phone in my pocket.
The reason why I said that the S55 is “the closest to a PDA phone” is just because when I let my Clié at home… I’d like to have with me the most important data… which are :
- The address book (complete, with “street” and “city”…)
- The agenda
- The “to do”
- And some notes…

I always said that I’m not in need of a PDA able to phone, to replace my Clié… but I’m in search of a “small” phone as close as possible to a PDA… and the S55 is, at the moment, the best “soon available” phone able to mach my need…!!

I've got a S55... Everything is so great about it. It's sooo stable and rich with functions. Silly that the screen only got 256 colours, but it doesn't really matter. I've also owned the 7650,6610 and Samsung T100 and I don't really miss more colours on this phone... Best phone I ever had...

P.S. Using it right now with the Webviewer Java App to write this message...

The S55 is'nt MP3 Compatible, u could by the MP3 BIT seperate thought like the C45 has! The S56,S57 Look the same, have different casing colours.. Feat. Dicatphone,v.Recorder,. The s55 has that plus it weights 85g

Got an S55 the other day, love it! I still have my SL45i though and love that too, 2 great phones by Siemens. I'm really impressed with the picture quality of the S55 camera compared to that of my MCA-20 for my T68i.
The pic on this link was taken of my girlfriend in the pub, without the flash on. I was pleased with the results for a fast snapshot.

Compare that to this one below, taken at work with my MCA-20 and T68i, in better lighting!

@Miss UK> I'm a bit phone mad really!!! I'm very impressed with the quality of pics from the s55 camera. Only drawback is when the battery gets down to quarter charge, you can't use the camera. Shame that. I t would be good if you could use the camera, but the option to use the flash was disabled instead of disabling the use of the camera. Have you got any pics you wouldn't mind posting so I can see what sort of results you've had using the s55 cam.
