 | Yeah, I think it depends what network and what phone. 
 I flashed a message to my S700i which had an Orange sim in it and it worked perfectly.  O2 network might not work because its the old genie network or something.
 
 I'll just have to make sure next time.

 | Flash messaging does work on the O2 network, but triggering it is different than the T-Mobile way (i.e. putting !! before the message). 
 Each operator would probably have their own way of setting the message flag to 0, some may not allow it at all.  Those damn XDA developers know how, one of them created an application which allows you to send flash messages, but they won't say how to set the flag to 0 on the phone itself!
