My advice, use a memory reader, any error could mess the phone firmware if used in transfer mode.

The transfer is slow cause the system is doing a lot of things at the same time...
if you hit the info button while on "transfer mode" the speed increases a little thats why the display shutsdown (no more visual process) also if u stop the phone memory card (the small one) the speed increases as well
all this things tell me that the system is short on speed and if u decrease the process that the cellphone has to make the speed is increases (again increases i dont know what to put xD instead of that xDXDD)
PS sorry for my bad english...
PS2 a memory card reader is about 15 usd xD

I just copy some jar and mp3 to my friend's W810i this evening.
It's slow alright.
Even W700i is faster, using the same cable. |

I'm using a Win XP SP2, 512ram... While using the outlook, Firefox, msn and explorer I experienced low transfer rates with my W810i and the same happen with a friend using a W300. No problems at all and Excellent transfer rates using a common mp3 player or card readers. I mean.. very different performances. I think that the inconvenience it’s over the cell phone and not over the version of the USB port or how many process you were handling in that moment. Maybe there’s a possibility to change that by a soft upgrade. Just an experience...

Hi guys!
My uncle has a W810 and my cousin likes to mess around his K610 using XS++.
Last week he phoned me about how slow the XS++ reading the W810 and he asked me about how fast is my K610 get connected with my XS++.
It comes out that his father's W810 is way much slower to connect with XS++ than our K610.
So i think the W810 is normal with slow data transfer via cable.
So cheers up guys and just take it easy, there is nothing wrong with your phone or pc.
Better get some card reader if you transfer a lot of big data in or out of your loved W810.
Greetings from Indonesia

did you already check out your memstick? one f the factors of experiencing a very slow transfer rate is having a fake memory stick. |

also, when a memory stick is getting full, the transfer speed turns slow.
