Why would o2 or any other company for that matter take out the memory card though? Its not as if they can do anything with it!

Well, then they might resell them claiming they're "bulk" (yes, they have those shrink wrapping machines) or just as simple as they force you to buy a separate -and very overpriced- M2 as an "accesory" because they know you're gonna want to buy one.

@ SE-Naz...

Precisely, thats because Carphone Warehouse don't want to include the M2 in their K800 packages. As we've said, companies may change whats included in the K800 package so that they can make more money using the "stolen" so to speak accessories. I bet if you were to buy a K800 directly from Sony, although probably more expensive, it will include all that is meant to be in the box.

So instead of asking "Should there be M2 included with my package"

you should be saying

"WHY HAVE YOU STOLEN MY M2 AND TRIED SELLING IT TO ME FOR £129.99 UNLESS I BUY IT WITH THE PHONE WHERE I WILL GET 25% OFF YOU ROBBING F**KWITTS!"

@Minstrel_Man : The HPM-70 has a 3.5mm socket in it where the mic is. It plugs into phone with the Fastport ocnnector, but you can use different headphones with it. Not ideal, but better than not being able to change them.

Lol @ Minstral_Man...

Did you not get an M2 then?

What about the meant to be included HPM-70 headphones?

Well technically they haven't stolen anything because I assume they bought them off Sony. But still they shouldn't remove or change what comes with it because its not just the phone that your paying all that money for...!

I dont know what model headphones it was, but it didnt have a 3.5mm jack, its was the standard headphones with the big connection with inbuilt atena for the radio, it certainly doesnt have an inline remote. that doesnt bother me too much though cos I'll never use them.

Yeah my K800 from O2 comes soon, I'm gonna flip if it doesn't come with at least a 64mb M2 and HPM-70 headphones...!

It looks like Carphone Warehouse like doing this then...

I have bought mine in Stockholm, Sweden.
The users guides came in two languages, Swedish and Finnish.
On page 16 in the Swedish guide is written "Du kan behöva köpa minneskortet separat" meaning somewhat "You may have to buy the memorycard separately".
On page 16 in the Finnish guide is written "Muistikortti pitää hankkia erikseen" meanig "The memorycard has to be obtained separately".
