Let's wait and see... On the 21st we'll have a better idea on how the game works. We can discuss a strategy if needed and then register, either individually or as a team.
Whatever happens, it could be fun!

There is alot more to owning a mobile phone today than anyone would have expected. This tiny gadget has more or less become a part of you - and some even define the phone through themselves. This is why new phone covers are being so extreemely popular worldwide. people doesn't just want a phone that is packed with standard features (even though they often don't need more).
People want a phone that looks cool, packed with great features and accessories. But also the brand is important. I bourght the t68i because I find it to be a great phone - and while i own this phone i feel that im part of the community. I believe many people here feel this way as well. I find myself standing up for SE in cellular phone discussions at my university even though I'm aware that other phone may have better working features. I really don't care. SE forever (read: for now)!
Check the most popular logo's here on esato. One of them is the anti-Nokia logo. And besides, if you check out Nokia forums you will get the exact same patriotism just for Nokia phones, where they mock Sony-Ericsson.
... just until the phone get's stolen, outdated or simply dies... Then I am going to look for a new phone... And who knows? Maybe it will be a Samsung, a Nokia or even a Microsoft phone. |

If it's so easy to win, doesn't that mean that lot's of people know this and work together?
I don't think it's gonna be that easy just because we are 20 peps working together.
I bet there are a lot of guys (and girls maybe) out there working together, thinking just the same thing.
But.. it's worth a try, why not!?

Play with your identity -- Nokia Game kicks off on 21 October
(October 16, 2002)
The multimedia adventure covers 25 countries in Europe and the Middle East
Nokia Game 2002, an interactive adventure provided by Nokia, will be played from 11 to 29 November in nine languages across all 25 countries simultaneously. During the game, players receive a mission that they must complete within the next 20 days. Those players who complete the mission to the fullest (i.e. score the most points) will win. Compared to previous versions of Nokia Game, this year offers both active and casual players the opportunity to play at their own level. Due to a new game concept, players can enjoy the experience 24 hours a day, if they want to, and upload and share their own created content to amaze and impress fellow players.
In addition, players are challenged to create a new game identity and investigate – using their game identity – the borders between fiction and reality. Close cooperation with the world’s largest music publishing companies has resulted in a game theme that will teach participants the ins and outs of today’s music business.
Nokia Game uses the Internet, SMS, chat, interactive voice response (IVR) calls and mini-movies distributed over the web to share information and provide clues and instructions to the players. There is no participation fee to participate in Nokia Game. To play, participants need to have access to the Internet, an e-mail address, and a mobile phone with the capacity to receive short messages. There is no age limit to play the game, but minors need their guardian's permission to participate.
At the end of the game, the top 10-100 players in each country will each win a special new Nokia 3650 phone with integrated camera, video player and camcorder. The winners will be among the first in their region to own and use this new phone.
"This is the fourth time we are running Nokia Game for mobile phone users. Last year, over half a million people played and we expect as many, if not more, for this year’s Nokia Game. Players are able to build their own pages to share information and content that they have created," said Pekka Rantala, Vice President, Marketing Services, Nokia Mobile Phones. “This type of promotional activity is an excellent fit with our brand promise of connecting people and reflects the growing importance of entertainment in mobile services.”
Nokia Game 2002 will feature multimedia messaging (MMS) and digital services. Operator logos, ring tones, and picture messages with Nokia Game themes are available from the Nokia Game site www.NokiaGame.com and Club Nokia, an online community loyalty program offering exclusive services to Nokia phone owners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The Club Nokia web and wap services can be accessed once the Nokia phone is registered with Club Nokia. For more information on Club Nokia, please see www.club.nokia.com.
Registrations and a press section where members of the press can download Nokia Game related material and follow news updates on the game opens at www.NokiaGame.com on October 21.

Not sure the 3650 will burn well, but you could flog it and spend the moeny on an "I hate Nokia" web site
We should register loads of accounts, because the top 10-100 players each get a phone!
What if I wake up one day and *this* is my real life? |
