You don't have to look the buttons at all. Just press any key (except the one that turns the alarm off all together) and the phone goes snoozing.. And that's not specific for the K800i...

Is there a way to pause the video? I can only see a start and stop function. If it can't, is there any java application that can play video, and able to pause? |

thanks, I got it. I was using the File Manager to play video, and it does not pause when I press the stop button.
When use video player, it could pause when the stop button is pressed. |

The keyboard is mapped to the icons on the keyboard. For example, pressing 5 opens the messages function, 6 the music player, 7 the file manager, # settings, etc. Works exactly the same way as it does on K700 (and maybe other models as well) |

I'm not sure if this is common knowledge... but you can key lock the phone while the music player is on, just by doing it the normal way like on standby mode. It's helpful when you plan to use only the music plauer for a while. This keeps you from having to go all the way to standby mode to keylock, then go back to the player when you want to change playlist/equalizer/fastforward/etc. |

On K750, W810 the photo DJ was a bit naff, ie if you added a clipart it was always the same size as it was made so you couldn't resize the clip to fit your pic, on the K800 if you ad a clip to your pic and the image is too small / large to look any good press the volume buttons up / down to resize the clip and they will now fit the face of whoever you are trying to make look stupid!
I don't really use this feature but if you do it makes it more user friendly than previous versions.

altemyr wrote about cut and paste from web phone books such as the Swedish http://hitta.se/ but I find it even more convenient to download the vCard offered by the same site. I have to use Opera Mini for browsing, the built in browser does not handle the full web version well, and the vCards are not in the mobile or wap version, but when I click vCard Opera exits and lets the built in browser download the vCard which is then added to the phone book. It only contains one usual phone number, one mobile, address. If there are more phone numbers, websites, e-mail address or fax it will not be in the vCard, but it still saves a lot of typing on the phone. I have written to them and asked them to offer this on their mobile version of the site too.

Don't know if this works on all networks but it does on my T-mobile Flext sim.
Start a message with > !! then type message e.g.
!!Hello you.
Send it and the message gets sent as a flash text message not standard.
i.e. the message appears on the receiving mobile, already opened and they can read it on the screen but cant save it, edit it, move it to inbox, nothing!
Once you hit OK to say you've read it it's gone forever, no proof you ever sent it in the first place!
Have fun if it works for you.
